Professional Coaching Pathway

If you have aspirations of becoming a coach or managing a football team, this programme is the perfect start to your journey. Alongside theory based coaching work, you’ll gain valuable experience out on the pitch whether that is during practical lessons or valuable experience at local schools and grassroots clubs. This programme will also allow you to gather important tactical and mental knowledge to assist you when you play.
Qualifications

HOURS OF STUDY
Average = 15 per week
ENTRY REQUIRMENTS
You will be expected to achieve 5 GCSE’s ideally to include PE (or BTEC sport) and English.

This qualification covers an array of areas within sport including physiotherapy, sports psychology, sports science and health and well-being. This helps to prepare you for many different careers in football both in terms of knowledge gained and helping you find what it is that interests you. Upon successful completion, this programme can help you gain a football scholarship in the USA or entry into UK universities.
